Wookey Films Inc. is an award-winning, Métis, LGBTQ+ owned production company based in Treaty 1 Territory.

Our work has aired nationally on CBC, Radio-Canada, APTN, Unis Tv and TV5 garnering 7 Prix Gémeaux nominations, a Canadian Screen Award nomination, a Rockie Award and several noms and wins at festivals worldwide.

With every project, our objective is to tell stories that build stronger bridges between us, creating empathy and understanding through thoughtful, compelling content.

Wookey Films is proudly 100% Indigenous and LGBTQ+ owned. Our teams at home and on the ground are composed primarily of women and members of Indigenous and LGBTQ+ communities. History

Our Story

Wookey Films is owned and operated by brother-sister team Jérémie & Janelle Wookey who are lifelong creative collaborators. They have been entertaining any and all willing audiences since ages 5 and 7.
